Is there a preparation course?YES, you can attend a "IC3 Preparation Day course" followed by the applicable IC3 exam at completion of the course. The Internet & Computing Benchmark tool takes a snapshot of an individual's digital literacy and computer skills by presenting them with a range of questions across three key areas - Computing Fundamentals, Key Applications and Living Online. What is a Proctor Fee?A Proctor fee is paid to the Authorised Testing Centre for the hire of the room in order for you to sit your exam. You may have a voucher because you have purchased this from another provider or you might have been given a free re-sit voucher if you have failed your exam, in these cases you will need to pay a proctor fee to use our testing centre to sit your exam or practice test.

 ABOUT THE EXAMSThe questions are multiply choice and feature real-world assignments that are based on the way you actually use Microsoft programs on your computer. Using an actual document, for example, you'll be asked to perform a series of tasks that demonstrate your desktop computing skills.

How long does a typical exam take?All exams take 45 minutes. Multiple keystrokes or erroneous mouse clicks will not count against your score as long as you achieve the correct end-result with three attempts.
